Versioning of documents

Hello, first I want to apologize if my English is not very good.

We have a system of "Liferay Portal Community Edition 6.1.1 CE GA2" and we are using the portlet to share multimedia documents and a series of folders and documents among multiple users of our portal. These users can modify documents and versioning portal is creating them. It begs the question whether it is possible to limit as versioned modified documents, we "fear" of growth that may have storage if you build a versioning control.
In short, we need to know if it is possible to say that only store (for example) the last 5 versions of the documents that users believe our portal through the amended documents.

Thanks in advance for your help.
    A greeting.
    Pepe.

Yes you can do this by creating a jsp hook for the Document library edit document page.

    Hi José,

Other people already asked for that and it seems that is not implemented:

So it seems you have to implement a hook. I don't know if you or your company would like to use Liferay and also contribute to its community, but there are Liferay Community Groups by regions, and the Spanish one, maybe, will implement a feature to stablish quotas, and maybe a good point would be number of versions. If you want to contribute to the project, you are wellcome emoticon.

Here you have a link to the project:

And the start of the user story in JIRA: LPS-14058

    Regards, Luis
