What is Liferay SKO? 
SKO is the annual gathering of the Liferay sales team to learn more about the new Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, product updates and company goals. With our Partner-First GTM Strategy, we felt our partners should attend to learn along side our teams. This is also the perfect opportunity for our partner ecosystem to meet and connect with Liferay’s sales teams globally, gain new insights, and position their Liferay practice for growth.
What are the dates and location of Liferay SKO?
Liferay SKO is happening February 3-5, 2025 at the Grant Hyatt Athens hotel.
  • The SKO event will commence on Monday, February 3, with a Welcome & Networking Reception starting at 7:00 pm EET.
  • The SKO event and will conclude on Wednesday, February 5, with lunch ending at 2:30 pm EET.
Will there be an opportunity to attend the conference virtually?
This is an in-person event only, so there will not be an opportunity to attend virtually. However, we will be providing recordings of the event keynotes and some track sessions after the event has ended.
Who is invited to attend Liferay SKO 2025?
This year, Liferay partners have been invited to join the global, in-person company event. This event would be relevant for Partner business, sales, marketing and technical leaders with registration availibility based on partner levels as follows:
  • Platinum Partners - 4 Attendees
  • Gold Partners - 3 Attendees
  • Silver Partners - 2 Attendees
May I bring a guest?
Employee or partner guests are not permitted to attend Liferay SKO.
When should I plan to arrive and depart for the event?
To get the most out of the event experience, partners should plan to arrive before or by late afternoon of Monday, February 3, and depart the afternoon of Wednesday, February 5, if they have no additional personal meetings scheduled. 

Our Welcome & Networking Reception will begin on Monday, February 3 at 7:00 pm. The partner event portion of SKO will conclude on Wednesday, February 5 at 2:30 pm.
What will be on the agenda?
We will announce the full agenda once it’s been finalized, so stay tuned.

 Registration

What is the deadline to register for the conference?
Regisration will be open until January 17, 2025, or our event capacity has been reached. Please contact your Channel Anncount Manager or [email protected] with any questions.
Is there a registration fee for this event?
There is no registration fee to attend Liferay SKO 2025. Event attendees, however, will be responsible for making their own travel & accommodation arrangements. 
Is partner registration for this event limited?
Yes, registration has the following availability for Solution Partners by level:
  • Platinum Partners - 4 Attendees
  • Gold Partners - 3 Attendees
  • Silver Partner - 2 Attendees
After January 17, 2025, we will determine the remaining availability and consider increasing the allowed number of registrants for partners.
Can I register for this event on-site?
No, registering for this event on-site is not an option.

Yes, you will receive a confirmation email separately after registering.
If I need to cancel my registration for the event?
Please notify the Liferay team at [email protected] if you need to cancel your event registration. Note: You are responsible for cancelling your room reservation directly with the Grant Hyatt Athens Hotel. 

 Travel & Accommodation

What airport should I fly into for the event?
The closest airport to the Grand Hyatt Hotel is Athens International Airport (ATH). The distance between the hotel and airport is 35.5 km (22 miles).
Will transportation be provided?
Liferay will be providing direct transportation for offsite event activities at the event (i.e, gala dinner). 
 
However, attendees will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the hotel. Note: An overnight rate of 18 EUR for self parking and 31 EUR  for valet parking for cars will apply at the hotel.
If I need a visa to travel to Greece, can I get an invitation letter from Liferay?

To request a visa invitation letter from Liferay, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information shown in bold: 

  • First name (as listed on your passport); Last name (as listed on your passport); Full name (as listed on registration)
  • Date of birth
  • Country of origin
  • Passport number
  • Passport date of issue
  • Passport expiration date
  • Company name
  • Nature of your relationship with Liferay
  • Duration of travel (exact dates)

Please note that requesting a visa invitation letter does not guarantee that your local authorities will grant a visa to attend this event. 

How do I make hotel reservations for SKO?
Rooms at the Grand Hyatt Athens (venue hotel) are sold out. 
What other hotels are available for SKO 2025?
Event attendees are free to make their own hotel arrangements nearby the Grand Hyatt Athens hotel if they prefer. Keep in mind that travel to the event venue will be incurred by event attendee.
