When can I see the agenda?

We are finalizing the lineup of speakers and sessions that will make up the agenda and you’ll be able to see more information over the next few weeks.

Here is an overview of the program:

11 Nov: Welcome Reception - 7:00 pm - 10:00pm
12 Nov: 9:00am - 5:30pm
13 Nov: 9:00am - 5:30pm | Party Night starting at 7.30pm
14 Nov: Unconference - 9:30am - 5:00pm

Will the event be live-streamed?

Since we now have the opportunity to meet in person, we will not be live-streaming the event. BUT we are planning on recording all sessions to be shared at a later stage on the recap page.

How much does the event cost?

I Trust You Rate: 599€ (28 May- 28 June)
Early Bird Price: 659€ (29 June - 31 August)
Regular Ticket Price: 769 € (1 Sept - Onwards)

What is the payment policy?

We accept payments through bank transfers (invoices). Registration cannot be completed without full payment.

Can I bring a guest to the evening event?

A limited number of event guest passes will be available for purchase on-site for the evening Party on Wednesday, 13 Nov. The cost of the ticket is €150. All guests must be 18 or older to attend the event.

Guests are not permitted to attend any Liferay DEVCON conference sessions.

What is the cancellation policy?

More than 6 weeks before the event: 100% refund
Between 2 and 6 weeks before the event: 50% refund
After 2 weeks or less before the event: no refund

How do I cancel my registration?

Cancellations should be submitted in writing. Please email [email protected] and include your full name and confirmation number.

Liferay will not cancel your hotel or flight reservations as a result of conference registration cancellation.

Is there a contingency of hotel rooms made available for attendees?

We are working on getting room blocks at hotels within walking distance from the venue. You can find more information about the different hotel recommendations in the Accommodation page.

What is the weather like in Budapest in November?

In November, Budapest experiences cold weather with temperatures ranging from around 3°C (37°F) at night to approximately 10°C (50°F) during the day. There is also a high chance of rain and even snow at times.

What is the best airport transportation from Budapest Airport to the City?

You can find a taxi stand in front of the terminal, which operates the city's official taxi service. The fare from the airport to the city center is approximately €20-25.

Alternatively, you can take the 100E bus from the airport, which stops very close to the conference venue. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes, and you should get off at the Deák Ferenc Tér M stop. A separate ticket is required for the bus, costing around €5.

How do I request a visa invitation letter?

You must register for the conference before requesting an invitation letter.

If you require a visa, we strongly recommend that you register for the event and start the visa process as soon as possible.

Please note that requesting a visa invitation letter does not guarantee that your local authorities will grant a visa to attend Liferay DEVCON.
